Can you build my design or my idea?
With your dreams and my experience in building furniture, we can design a piece that will give you many years of pleasure and service. Learning what you want and understanding your needs and ideas about your piece of furniture are some of the aspects of my job that I enjoy most.
Do you include delivery?
Local delivery is complimentary; however long distance delivery requires a crating fee plus the cost of shipping via the best available carrier.
What are your prices?
The large number of variables involved in making a piece of furniture creates a wide range of prices even for superficially similar pieces. The price will be based primarily on the complexity of the design and the choice of wood; however other considerations can play a role.
Once we agree upon a design I will price the piece and we will sign a contract to that effect. Changes to the design once the construction process has begun can result in higher costs.

Do you reproduce period furniture?
Yes, I can reproduce any style you like, or I can copy a particular piece you have in mind.
How long does a piece take to build?
A lead time of six to nine months is typical to begin construction. I do all the work so there is a queue. Construction usually takes from two to eight weeks.
Why do you require a contract?
Once we have agreed upon a design, we will sign a contract that will protect both of us from miscommunications throughout the process.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a deposit of one half of the total price is required to schedule construction. The balance is due on delivery.
Do you guarantee your work?
I guarantee my furniture unconditionally for flaws in craftsmanship, if there is any problem with the piece because of the way I built it, I will repair it or replace it free of charge. The guarantee does not cover damage from moving or shipping the piece (initial delivery excepted), neglect or abuse.
